Plagiarism Policy

The Science and Technology Journal maintains the highest standards of academic integrity. All submitted manuscripts must be original and free from any form of plagiarism. A similarity index of no more than 20% is permitted, as determined by plagiarism-detection tools such as Turnitin or iThenticate. Similarity resulting from properly cited references, standard terminology, or method descriptions may be exempt from this limit. However, copying text, data, images, or ideas from previously published work without proper citation, including self-plagiarism, is strictly forbidden. Manuscripts exceeding the 20% similarity threshold will be returned to authors for revision or may be rejected. If plagiarism is found after publication, the article may be retracted, and the authors may be disqualified from future submissions. Authors are responsible for ensuring all sources are correctly cited and that their work is original.

The journal recognizes the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in scientific writing and research. Authors are allowed to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, or other AI-based data analysis software for language editing, data processing, or idea generation. However, any use of AI in developing the manuscript must be explicitly disclosed in the Acknowledgment or Methodology section. A sample statement is: “The authors used ChatGPT (OpenAI) for language assistance in editing the manuscript. All content was reviewed and approved by the authors.” Authors are fully responsible for all content created with AI assistance and must verify its accuracy, originality, and ethical compliance. The use of AI to generate entire manuscripts, fabricate data or references, or manipulate research outcomes is strictly prohibited. AI-generated figures, tables, images, or code must be clearly identified and accompanied by an explanation of how they were produced.

By submitting a manuscript to the Science and Technology Journal, authors confirm their compliance with this Plagiarism and AI Use Policy. Failure to comply may lead to rejection, removal of the publication, or other measures deemed suitable by the Editorial Board.
